Roger Walker, Managing Partner/Head Coach

Coach Roger grew up in Brooklyn, New York.   He was a member of the Flip City Tumblers and trained under the coaching direction of the prolific David Green, Sr. At the age of 16, Coach Roger made the four-hour round trip, four days a week to train at Flip City in Newark, New Jersey and only missed one practice session in a two-year span.

Coach Roger represented the USA in Platform Tumbling at the World Friendship Cup in Portugal in 1989.  From 1988 to 1997 he earned numerous other national and world titles in tumbling. He was a member of the Men’s Senior Elite Tumbling Team that took gold in 1996 at the World Championships and he won a silver medal at the Canada Cup in 1997.

Coach Roger was twice selected as the National Age Group “Coach the Year” for Tumbling and is looking forward to the opening of CAVU Trampoline & Tumbling. Most recently, he was inducted into the Acrobatic Hall of Fame in Las Vegas.

Donna

Donna Gelber, Managing Partner

“Miss Donna” is a proud mother of five, a New York Giants fan (sometimes painfully so), an 80’s music lover, and a gymnastics enthusiast.

Her passion for gymnastics began as she watched her youngest daughter become a competitive gymnast. Now she finds herself fortunate enough to be with CAVU Trampoline and Tumbling.

Before spending 20 years dedicated to raising a family, she was an Administrative Assistant to the President of the largest construction company on the East Coast at the time.  Donna was also a Receptionist who was quickly promoted to Outside Sales Representative at a computer hardware company. In addition, she spent time as a Legal Secretary at a large corporate law firm.

Once her children grew up, Donna became an Independent Contractor offering administrative services to a broad client base in Manhattan and New Jersey.  She also co-owned a successful floral and event planning business.

Coach Roger and Miss Donna thank you and are truly grateful that you have put your trust in them.  They sincerely hope that you and your children are as happy to be here as we are to have you.
